Jenny Gao

– `violin – voice

Hello, my name is Jenny, and I am currently a student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. I previously studied at Purcell School and Guildhall School for Music with Scholarships to study voice and violin. My love for music began with the violin; this gave me the musicality I needed. Then, later on in my journey, I found that I enjoyed singing the most. I think the essential part of teaching is focusing on what makes you happy then building on the foundations after as I find this the key to growing and developing as a musician. I have experience teaching beginners to students who want to take their ABRSM exams. I have helped students of mine enter auditions for Junior Conservatoires and all my students receive distinctions on their ABRSM exams. I am very excited to find more students who want to share this journey together!
